Junior Credit Risk Analyst – Europe
Job Description:
– Understand the business, analyse the financial statements, investor presentations, and assess the credit risk profile of Morgan Stanley’s counterparties to serve as the basis for informed risk management decisions,
– Conduct counterparty / borrower specific and industry level research to identify key factors impacting client performance,
– Take part in the lending and/or trading activities of Morgan Stanley preparing proposals serving as the basis for credit decisions,
– Write credit reviews to present your analysis and explain the conclusions formulated on its basis, which are presented for discussion with both colleagues and senior management,
– Participate in projects touching on multiple aspects of risk management with a focus on credit,
– Obtain and apply specialised industry knowledge working in Investment Management (Regulated and Non-Regulated Funds
Qualification:
– Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Public Policy or similar fields
– Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
– 0-3 years of relevant work experience (experienced candidates are welcome as well)
– Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an aptitude to formulate and express opinions with clarity

Job Responsibilities:
Researching corporate actions and taking necessary steps to realign firm systems / reports after co-ordinating with sales / business divisions, IT teams and Operations
Managing workflow tools, data integrity reports, CRM requests, user queries, etc
Keeping contact database updated with contact moves, departures, mass address & telecom changes, etc
Validating and setting up clients in Firm’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems

Equity Operations Analyst – USA
• Process transactions/tasks within coverage area
• Respond to client requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
• Follow escalation framework, taking responsibility for identifying, escalating and preventing issues
• Raise issues, question others and offer solutions/ideas
– Performing timely deal amendments across key coverage markets US, Canada, Latin America
– Liaising with Global Stock Loan teams for pass the book activities and providing out of hour amendment coverage for the European and Far East markets
