2025 Financial Control Group Industrial Trainee Program (Mumbai)

We’re seeking CA trainee’s to join our Finance Team for the CA Industrial Training Program.

This internship program designed as an opportunity to learn more about the important role that Finance plays within the Firm. This structured program is designed to give interns insight into this division and an opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills needed to develop an exciting and rewarding career.

The training will continue throughout the course of the program with structured learning sessions run by senior executives.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources.

Successful candidates will develop or enhance their knowledge of finance and accounting by exploring the

various financial aspects of one or more of the Firm’s business units.

Candidates will generally be expected to:

Develop an understanding the Morgan Stanley businesses and product lines

Produce analysis, reconciliation, and substantiation of P&L and/or other financial reports which will be reviewed with their team’s global counterparts

Understand the Reporting Systems, and contribute to enhancing the Firm’s control environment

Provide Regulatory and Financial Reporting to global stakeholders

Qualification:

2025 Fund Services – Portfolio Analytics Fall Associate Program (Mumbai)

We’re seeking interns to join our Fund Services Team for the Fall Internship Program. This is 6 months internship program designed as an opportunity to learn more about the important role that Fund Services plays within the Firm.

The Portfolio Analytics group of MSFS focuses on providing solutions for risk and performance measurement, portfolio transparency reporting, factor analysis, and other bespoke analytics needs of Morgan Stanley’s global hedge fund clientele.

Interns are integrated into the Fund Services Analytics group and are expected to take on responsibilities of full-time analysts. Placement will be determined by aligning your skillset and interests with our business needs.

Job Description:

The candidate is expected to perform risk and return attribution for portfolio of the Firm’s hedge fund clients.

The candidate is expected to prepare custom client reports that involve risk and performance calculation.

The candidate is expected to help in building automation to scale bespoke solutions for the clients.

The candidate is expected to suggest enhancements in the existing processes and offerings.

Qualification:

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillset.

Able to understand and evaluate complex information quickly.

Good understanding of equities, fixed income and derivatives products.

Proficiency in verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them independently.

Attention to detail and must constantly look for ways to improve operational efficiency.

Hands-on experience with Excel-VBA, familiarity with R will be an added advantage.

MBA and BE/BTech degree preferred
