Professional Services Cloud Intern, Summer 2019
Job Description:
Interact with sales/partner leads and technical stakeholders to translate complex customer requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution architectures and consulting services.
Work with our technical leads, client executives and partners to manage and deliver successful migrations to cloud solutions.
Work closely with Practice areas, Product and Engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
Understand customer needs and help shape Google’s long term product strategy. Be an advocate of Google’s “product innovation story.”
Available to work full time for 12-14 weeks during the summer from May 2019 to August 2019 or June 2019 to September 2019.
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Technical or Engineering field.
Experience designing and deploying distributed data processing systems or cloud infrastructure.
Experience reading software code in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
Available to start on May 28, 2019 or June 17, 2019 and returning to a degree program after the internship ends.
Knowledge or willingness to learn architecting, developing and/or maintaining production-grade cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
Ability to work well with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base.
Effective cross-functional project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions.
Authorization to work in Canada and the ability to travel during the internship.
