Cost Engineer
Job Description:
Technical skill and knowledge in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and other early development costing techniques
* Experience identifying and quantifying part cost drivers
* 2 – 4 years of manufacturing engineer experience
* 2 – 4 years of technical experience relating to the development and understanding of complex component costs
* Experience in the use of advanced Excel functions
* Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools
* Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
* 1 + years of experience leading small to medium sized individual and cross divisional team project Willingness to work varying work schedules to support multiple time zones
* Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%
* Business Market knowledge.
* Availability to talk in front of big group of people.
*Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
*Degree in a Supply Management discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
