Proposals Engineer
The Proposals Engineer will be involved in the preparation and submission of multi-discipline, technical tenders ranging in value from $100k to £100m+. The Proposals Engineer will support all areas of the business and must be able to prepare numerous tenders in parallel.
Job Description:
• Delivering individual tenders – on schedule, within budget and to highest quality
• Reviewing all EOIs / ITTs and prepare applicable paperwork
• Supporting the Business Capture/Business Development activities
• Being responsible for supporting and enforcing proposals process
• Working in and maintaining BD/proposals digital management system
• Participating in Strategy and Bid / No Bid discussions and the development of and responsibility for bid schedule
• Organising tender meetings and review meetings, ensuring presentations and applicable paperwork have been completed.
• Ensuring all internal and third-party tender input is received by the required dates
• Liaising with all other EPS West discipline personnel to ensure accurate input to tenders
The successful candidate must have general knowledge of the oil and gas business and commercial / technical knowledge of oil and gas contracts is preferred. They will ideally have previous experience working within a proposals environment and ideally degree qualified in relevant subjects (English, Law, Business etc.). We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, time management and organisation skills. They must be able to work to tight deadlines and be comfortable working in a fast pace environment.
