Job Description:

Specialist – Market risk – India

Job Description:

As a Market Risk team member, the primary function will be to detect, quantify and communicate potential for unforeseen or unidentified risk within trading activities Additionally, this role liaises with Accounting/ Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure deals are captured accurately and reflected correctly in our systems.

Cross training will be required to provide cover on daily, monthly and quarterly reporting processes for the Market Risk team.

Individual will be frequently involved in development of the day-to-day and monthly processes and systems in order to keep pace with the ever-changing trading environment.

Qualification:

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate, logical, can prioritize and multi-task, and is comfortable working in teams

A good understanding of Commodity Markets (preferably crude oil/ oil products/ LNG/ natural gas/ power) business and/or familiarity with spot price assessments, forward curve methodologies, swap markets, and basics of options would be valuable

Risk Management knowledge (demonstrate knowledge of different types of VaR, stress testing, sensitivity analysis, basis risk, volume risk, currency risk)

Experience/ understanding of Risk Management systems Openlink Aligne and FIS Endur – ability to identify deal changes related to fees would be a strong plus.

Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle is required.

Working knowledge of Qlik – create new visualizations and drill down information for detailed analysis – is preferred

Associate Engineer – Reliability PACO – India

Job Description:

Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including; flow, level, temperature, pressure measurement, valve sizing and selection, and analysers.

Identify unit performance improvement opportunities and reliability risks, and work with Area team to determine and implement cost effective solutions.

Conduct or support failure analysis and causal investigation of instrumentation failures or incidents.

Support instrumentation equipment obsolescence planning and upgrade strategies.

Support the turnaround instrumentation plan and work list for assigned areas. Provide active support for the implementation of instrumentation scope during turnarounds.

Qualification:

University Degree in Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or related full-time university degree.

Broad exposure in Operations and Maintenance, with less than 5 years relevant experience in the Control & Automation Engineering discipline and a good understanding of the Maintenance process/system in Oil & Gas or Petro-chemical industry

Knowledge in Instrumentation and Controls with working experience in field instruments (including control valves), control systems (DCS, IPS, vendor local panels etc.), analyzers , hydraulic systems,  auxiliaries and interfaces system (e.g., serial link cable, Modbus, Profibus, FF etc.)

Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions.

Demonstrated professional competence and managerial skills, and proven ability to influence change     across an organization and geographies.

Exposure to Preventive/ Corrective/breakdown maintenance and turnarounds.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer to provide remote support for the LNGC Digitalization team

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure data pipelines, as well as maintaining the performance and availability of our databases, and operationalizing data environments also to develop the data quality measuring protocols to support project to asset handover and to support the implementation of the Information Management Quality System for the asset

Real Time Scheduling Analyst – USA

Job Description:

Work a continuous 12-hour shift alongside a real-time power trader for up to 7 days in a row including nights, weekends, and holidays
Procure hourly transmission reservations and create electronic tags under the guidance of a real-time power trader
Upload power market bids, offers, and schedules to the appropriate ISOs under the guidance of a real-time power trader
Work with counterparties to set up paths and schedules. Ensure tags and transmission are properly implemented
Analyze complex data to help traders and customers make decisions
Provide real-time support to real-time traders and trade floor personnel, resolving operational issues quickly to minimize impact to business operations
Maintain good working relationships with various stakeholders including trading business users, IT service partners and management, supplier partners, vendors and customers
Work with the real-time trading team and other IT operational teams, to coordinate effective resolutions to operational issues
Develop and continuously improve data handling, report generation and IT processes on Shell’s Azure framework

Qualification:

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a Technical Field is preferred
