Data Insights Analyst – Virtual
Note: This role is a virtual position based in the US.
Job Description:
Understand, interpret, analyse, and blend multiple SGWS data sets to provide valuable insights to SGWS leadership, do deep-dive analyses, answer data-related questions, and prepare data-based analyses for presentations to the SGWS Leadership, SEAM and C&E Leadership, and key stakeholders of the businesses that SGWS supports.
Job Responsibilities:
Producing and maintaining insightful reports to ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose, complete, timely, accurate, and communicated effectively.
Examining data and documentation for completeness and accuracy and creating databases.
Proactively identifying data quality assurance processes and resolving data gaps or inconsistencies to ensure a robust and trusted data source.
Initiating and contributing to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives related to improving turnaround time for recurring activities and identifying innovative and creative uses of data.
Documenting processes in both the “as is” and “to be” phases
Qualification:
A legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
At least three (3) years in an analytical role with business interaction required.
Specific skills and experiences must include:
Expertise in Power BI required.
Expertise in PowerPoint required.
Expertise in Excel.
Knowledge of ENFOS a plus.
Knowledge of other database and data visualization tools a plus.
