Project Engineer (Mechanical)
As a Project Engineer on site, you will be required to provide, maintain and develop engineering services for both capital and special revenue projects. You will assist in developing the works capital plan and long-term strategies by working up engineering proposals, investigating new technologies and benchmarking.
You will also be expected to provide the required professional technical input and represent Tata Steel, Hartlepool in dealings with other Tata sites and the Competent Authority. Specifically, you will need to:
Assist in setting Hartlepool policy in line with ISO/IEC, EN and BS and Tata Steel policies/guidance.
Organize, facilitate and document safety studies such as risk assessments, HAZOP and FMEA.
Ensure that Management of Change documents are created for any modifications or changes.
Use transferable skills to assist with others on site.
As the Project Engineer, you will ideally be educated to degree level in engineering and have experience within the steel industry at an appropriate level.

Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer
We are recruiting for an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer within our Iron Making department at our site in Port Talbot, South Wales. The purpose of the role is to manage, maintain and continuously improve the EC & I function of manufacturing and engineering within the Works Area.
This includes the EC & I aspects of plant engineering, availability and reliability, as well as of occupational and process safety, and the environment. The overall aim is to ensure the required maintenance and calibration activities for professional asset management and manufacturing operations so to achieve annual plan.
The EC&I Engineer will have experience of working within the manufacturing sector or a heavy industry environment. It would be advantageous if applicants had experience, knowledge or familiarity with some
