SECURITY SPECIALIST, WILL TRAIN, ROTATE SHIFTS QUARTERLY, 100% REMOTE

Location:New York, New York, United States

Job Responsibilities

Monitors various log sources from tools and applications such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) logs, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), firewall logs, Windows logs, Linux operating system logs, etc.
Analyze, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents.
Escalate high or critical incidents or complex security alerts to Senior Security Analysts.
Track and update security incidents over the course of the incident lifecycle.
Work with SIEM engineering to fine-tune rules for false positive alerts.
Develop and suggest SIEM rules that help in detection of security incidents.
Prepare documents and reports as requested.
Attend meetings and training as required.
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions.
Recommend documentation improvements.

Qualifications:

0 or more years of Security Operations Center experience
Some IT exposure (Networking, Service Desk, self-learning, etc.)
Industry standard security certification (i.e., Security+ or other entry-level security certifications)
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, and interact with other members.

Preferred:

SIEM software and EDR tool experience
Well versed in log analysis on various log sources from Next-Gen firewalls, Domain Controllers, Linux operations systems, Anti-Virus logs, EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, router and switch logs, etc.
Experience in threat hunting, log integration, and incident case management.
1-2 years of Security Operations Center experience.
1-2 years of general IT support experience.
Any experience with networking

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND STORYTELLING, SENIOR ASSOCIATE (REMOTE) – US

Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, business-savvy communications professional to help the Corporate Communications and Storytelling team engage our key audiences with compelling and inspiring content and support the development and execution of events supporting our executive leaders.

The Senior Associate will support and enable the Corporate Communications and Storytelling team.

Working closely with the senior manager of Corporate Communications and Storytelling, you will support the creation, distribution and measurement of communications supporting members of our executive leadership team (ELT) and senior leadership team (SLT). You will also support the execution of town halls, leadership meetings, and in-office events, and help develop content for internal channels to drive engagement across our business.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational, writing, editing, and design skills and value collaborating with and impacting multiple parts of the organization.

This role is remote, with the ideal candidate being based in New York for presence at occasional in-office events and meetings. It will report to the AVP of Internal Communications and Corporate PR.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree (Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or Marketing degree preferred)
2+ years of experience in corporate communications
Ability to collaborate and implement in a matrixed organization with multiple project teams and timelines
A creative problem solver who can produce and edit communications collateral for a variety of channels and formats (video, PowerPoint, social media, etc.)
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent writing skills
Creative design skill and knowledge of design and video editing software a plus
