Software Engineer, Technical Security & Intel

Job Description:

Work with experienced Engineers across many functional areas to deliver business value to internal and external stakeholders

Design and develop new modules on the home-grown security monitoring platform which is used for device configuration, management, and monitoring

Architect new and innovative solutions to bring in-house capabilities beyond what is available from third-party applications

Develop scalable solutions using different technologies like .Net Framework, C# , Redis , Django, Celery, Python and other open stack frameworks

Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies

Interface with multiple stakeholders and internal customers, as well as manage critical vendor relationships

Increase efficiency, while reducing waste wherever and whenever possible

Collaborate with colleagues in design and code reviews while using your excellent troubleshooting skills

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 3+ years of experience working in the software development industry

Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack web applications from scratch

Tesla is seeking a self-motivated Sustaining Process Engineer to ensure continuous production quality and enable world-class manufacturing of Tesla’s cutting-edge battery packs.

Job Description:

Review critical process metrics daily for statistical shifts from nominal and develop game plans to address

Identify and/or develop critical process monitors and metrics for battery module and pack manufacturing. Use to diagnose issues found during the manufacturing process, efficiently identify root cause, react (but also plan proactively)

Guide and develop roadmaps for aggressive improvement to OEE metrics: Yield, Cycle Time,

Availability, and Cost. Report metrics to upper management

Manage workload with a positive attitude as a team player in a collaborative work environment

Drive continuous improvement and support activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures

Qualification:

Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or equivalent experience
Ability to derive data-supported root causes and propose strong countermeasures.

Tableau, R-studio, Minitab, and/or JMP experience preferred. Must be able to pull data using efficient SQL queries

Exceptional problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning systems quickly, capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges

Demonstrated experience in ramping a high volume, automated and semi-automated manufacturing line.

In addition – has creative capacity for developing new ways to do things better, cheaper, faster in alignment with the aggressive Tesla approach to ramping production lines

Passion for making fantastic new products with industry-leading quality

Desired Manufacturing Skillsets – Ignition Automation experience, familiarity with two-part adhesives, experience with Atlas-Copco fastener rundown traces and quality detection methods.

Vision inspection systems preferred, such as Keyence 2D image inspection and profilometry
