Back Office Analyst
Reporting and reconciliation
Assist in ensuring the confirmation & deal reconciliation process for all PGE entities is adhered to
Monitor that Procurement supply accurate deal-sheets/electronic download reports for trades conducted with the Trading
Reconcile trading information within the entity systems by confirming deals with Trading Back Office on a daily basis;
Reconcile monthly Cost of Gas and Cost of Electricity invoices against the entities financial & deal management systems, including reconciliation on imbalances;
Develop and improve customers lock-ins confirmation processes
Reconcile Renewable certificates trades by confirming deals and validating invoices
Assist internally and externally with any confirmation/reconciliation related questions;
Project
Participating in projects related to confirmation and reconciliation reporting enhancements.
Systems
Suggesting improvements to the efficiency and accuracy of existing operational tasks.
Work with IT and Systems Interface department raising bugs and suggesting improvements to the existing systems.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing
Communication
To interact with and form strong working relationships with
Trading Back Office
Entity Finance teams
Procurement
Qualifications / Experience
1 year of commercial experience in an Energy company role.
Knowledge of European energy markets an advantage.
Proficient in use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Confident personality with the ability to interact with multi-national teams, well-organised and capacity to work under pressure.
University degree qualification preferred or equivalent
Fluent in English & preferably one other major European language
