Job Description :
Service Engineering
A product and customer focused position supporting technical activity between the service engineering, quality, technical and manufacturing teams in support of new product development. The role also provides engagement with the development of engine repair and diagnostic/troubleshooting strategies, product support and real-world field testing of development products.
Design and Validation
This role applies knowledge of engineering principles and design practices to create optimised design concepts and mechanical design specifications. The role effectively communicates the capability of a design concept to meet cross-functional requirements.
Test Operations
Working within the laboratory operations function to translate internal and external customer requirements into practical testing for diesel engine and aftertreatment development and analyse test requests, ensuring that the correct equipment, prototypes and instrumentation is available to support the test request. Preparing daily test plans and driving execution, alongside troubleshooting issues including test hardware, test sequence and scripting to provide solutions.
Current Product Engineering
Working within the technical function and supporting the manufacturing plant, this product focused position performs established technical tasks at the sub-system and component level for current and future products. Investigates product problems, understands casual mechanisms and recommends appropriate action.
Calibration Development
This science and product systems focused position utilizes the core competences of thermal and fluid sciences in the specialised areas of combustion and emissions science, using and advancing analytical and experimental approaches to answer key questions about the performance and architecture of a system or component.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree across all Engineering & STEM related subjects.
