Campus Accounting and Finance Development Program Corporate Graduate Intern – Exempt
The Opportunity
Endless opportunities abound at the Fortune 1 company to jump start your post-college career via Walmart’s summer Accounting & Finance Development Program (AFDP) internship. We are searching for exceptional leader-potential students, to not only participate in the internship, but who also have an interest in a full-time position with the exclusive two-year Accounting & Finance Development Program upon graduation.
Each year, a limited number of candidates are selected to launch their career in an accelerated development rotational program that places them on a career fast track at the world’s largest retailer. Opportunities exist in a range of different business areas and geographical areas, including our Global eCommerce complex in Silicon Valley.
The Internship
The opportunity begins with a fast-paced 10-week internship.
Accounting and finance experience can be gained through teams in Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Treasury, Capital Markets, Tax, Controller’s Office, Supply Chain, Marketing, Financial Services, Real Estate, Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and many more!
The Experience
There is no substitute for ‘feet-on-the-ground’ experience.
The Requirements
Students pursuing a graduate/ masters level degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Strategy, or other business-related fields will be considered (3.0 GPA required but higher performance taken into account). In addition, 6 credit hours of accounting upon graduation is required.
