Job Description:
This is an entry level role and is perfect for applicants who have some knowledge of SQL/Big Query and want to develop their knowledge and skills for a career in data analytics/data science
The recruitment process for this role involves a group technical assessment; candidates will be invited to join a group session, where they will consider a few data questions with small sample data sets requiring that they write a query. The query will not be run, but will be assessed by our existing data analysts for quality, syntax usage, and general level of understanding. Candidates that are successful in the assessment will be invited to a follow-up meeting
You’ve studied how to create SQL scripts (we use Google Big Query)
You’ve analyzed data in Excel using advanced formulae or VBA
You’re organized, disciplined, and manage your time well with competing demands
You have high standards, and you hold yourself accountable
You can work on a project and do your own research, but ask for help when needed
You can spot patterns in data, find anomalies, validate and quality check your work
