Microsoft awards tuition and conference scholarships each year to encourage students to further their learning in Computer Science and related STEM
The Seattle Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist female and non-binary (self-identifying) students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs pursuing a STEAM related (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) area of study.
The Women at Microsoft Scholarship seeks to empower high school women and non-binary people to go to college and target a career in the technology industry.
Women at Microsoft Scholarship Program 2023
Scholarship:
Awards will vary in size, up to $5,000, offered as one-time or renewable for up to four (4) years.
Requirements
This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school senior women and non-binary people* who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and target a career in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).
Applicants to the Women at Microsoft Scholarship must:
Be high school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates
Self-identify as female or as non-binary*
Plan to enroll in full-time STEAM related (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent
International applicants are welcome to apply.
How to apply
The Women at Microsoft Scholarship will begin accepting applications on January 23, 2023. To apply for a Women at Microsoft Scholarship, submit your application online by March 15, 2023.
