Job Description:
This is a Residential Mortgage Underwriting process which involves a complete analysis of the loan parameters and the borrowers’ details pertaining to Income, credit and assets.
Candidate shall be responsible for conducting daily and weekly audits to ensure the decisions rendered on credit applications are in par with the Mortgage Underwriting
guidelines as prescribed by Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac. Shall ensure that the loan applications have been thoroughly reviewed in all aspects of the Credit, Income and Asset.
Shall ensure that the overall risk has been taken into consideration while providing the underwriting recommendations.
Job Responsibilities:
Works under moderate supervision; acquires and applies maturing knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.
Shall be responsible for performing daily and weekly audits on the transactions completed by the team.
Shall ensure that a sampling methodology based on the complexity of the loan, Error trends, History of errors is worked out to ensure maximum coverage to minimise risk of error
Shall ensure that the loan has been reviewed in accordance with the SOP/Process manuals and any updates to the process have been followed and incorporated as part of the processing.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferably B. Com/BBA/MBA.
4 to 6 years of overall banking experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential
Mortgage Underwriting for Conventional/FHA/VA loans of which 1 year should have been in a QA role.

This is a Residential Mortgage Underwriting process which involves a complete analysis of the loan parameters and the borrowers’ details pertaining to Income, credit and assets.
Candidate shall be responsible for managing a team of underwriters and senior underwriters, ensuring on-time and quality of deliverables.
Communicate decisions that most effectively mitigate credit risks, including data integrity and validity of information submitted.
Applies understanding of established guidelines, Fair Lending and all other regulatory requirements while utilizing prudent underwriting judgment and experience.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferably B. Com/BBA/MBA.
5 to 7 years of overall banking experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential
Mortgage Underwriting for Conventional/FHA/VA loans of which 1 year should have been in a Team Leader capacity
Demonstrated leadership experience
Willingness to work in night shifts is a must.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be tasked with auditing loans underwritten by credit officers to ensure compliance with bank policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include meticulously reviewing loan applications, assessing documentation accuracy. Verifying adherence to established lending criteria and identifying any deviations or discrepancies.
Qualification:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in any field.
2+ years of experience in Pre-underwriting, Loan Processing, Mortgage Underwriting or Post Close Underwriting in Australian Mortgage, USA & UK mortgage domain.
Proven work experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or similar role
Strong understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations is essential for this role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with loan origination systems and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
