Intern Health, Safety & Environment, Q3/Q4 2025 Intake

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Assist in managing PMY Chemical Register.
Assist in maintaining SDS record for PM304 (Cendor/ West Desaru).
Assist in following up progress action closure for Chemical Assurance – Clariant.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 

Basic in HSE
Basic problem-solving technique.
Good computer software (advantage for those with good computer skills).
Good in Power BI Dashboard (Digitalization of HSE Data)
Prefer with 3 months and beyond duration.

Internship Legal & Compliance (Document Management), Q3/Q4 2025 Intake

 INTERNSHIP LEGAL & COMPLIANCE (DOCUMENT CONTROL), Q3/Q4 2025 INTAKE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Scope A (Document Management)

The intern will be assigned to support in the Document Management process with the following key deliverables:

Document review exercise for BMS System documents, Operating Procedures (the intern will be expected to support other departments as assigned by Legal & Compliance HOD) and identify improvement actions.
Support on Design Flowchart and document conversion including formatting.
Support on Document Distribution (review and approval) via O365 Planner and Nitro.

Scope B (Records Management

The intern will be assigned to support in the development, rollout and implementation of Petrofac Malaysia Records Management process and procedure with the following key deliverables:

Establishment of Company Level Record Retention Schedule/policy that complies with regulatory and Petronas requirements.
Records verification, inventory review exercise and improvement activities (the intern will be expected to support other departments as assigned by Legal & Compliance HOD) and identify improvement actions.
Support on the CI Major Project – P2P (Disposal and Digitisation activity)
E-learning on Web-Based Inventory Guidelines, retrieval and archival process.

Scope C (Asset Modification Brownfield Project)

The intern will also be assigned to assist in Brownfield projects that consists of the following assignments.

Support on the quality checks on documentation (incoming and outgoing) as per document control process between Company and Contractor (the intern will be expected to support other departments as assigned by CCI HOD) and identify improvement action.
Support on the review accuracy of Final Documentation.
Support on the compilation of native drawings and Re-As built Drawings exercise.
E-learning video on Brownfield Document Numbering and Guidelines.

Scope D (Process Improvement)

The intern will also be assigned to assist in process improvement projects that consists of the following assignments.

Support on Process mapping and development of process flow diagram, data gathering and analysis.
Support on content research and benchmarking.
Create content/ e-learning/ interactive media/ video/ montage on process improvement.
Support on the process improvement project.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Office Management, Record Management, Computer Science etc. with a minimum 3.5/4 or its equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Proficient in editing software e.g., Computer programming languages, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Canva etc. Shall have the required editing software (Preferable).
Detail oriented and meticulous.
Good English communication (both written and verbal)

Internship Subsurface (Reservoir Engineering), Sept 2025 Intake

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out well & reservoir analysis using OFM database software. Scope includes QC-ing of input, creating functions & variables for DCA analysis, bubble maps and standardization of plots for Cendor, East Cendor, West Desaru and Irama production performance analysis.
Consolidation of well test e followed by nodal analysis through PROSPER application to validate well tests and propose well optimization.
Gas lift design, diagnosis and optimization.
Contaminants (Sand/H2S/CO2) or well corrosion analyses, studies and lab testing.
Preparation of production data input to develop daily production losses identification, monitoring, reporting and proposal for production optimization.
Prepare ODU (Online Data Uploader) submission to PETRONAS. Scope includes data QC, tracking of progress, loading of data, ensuring quality submission for PM304 fields.
Note: Actual project(s) will be assigned based on the candidate’s competency as well as business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.3/4 or above to be eligible for the internship.
Familiarity with and ability to apply basic petroleum engineering principles.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites (Excel, Word & Power Point).
Experience with industry standard software such as MBAL (material balance), Prosper (well modelling), Saphir (well test analysis), and OFM will be an advantage.
Must be proactive & resourceful.
Must be able to follow instructions and ask questions when in doubt (good communication skills).
Be able to work effectively with good time management.
Able to present ideas/deliverables in a concise and clear manner during technical presentations.

Specialized sanding modeling, studies, and lab testing.
Reservoir souring analyses, studies, and lab testing.
Mechanical earth modeling studies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum CGPA 3.3/4 or its equivalent.
Proficient in nodal analysis, well performance modelling, gas lift design, diagnosis, and evaluation.
Proficient in the basics of geomechanic, formation sanding, reservoir souring, artificial lift, and well corrosion.
Possesses practical experience via prior leading-role assignment in studies/projects related to one or more of the
subject of interest.
Experience using industry-recognized software programs such as PROSPER, WinGLUE, MBAL, Saphir, OFM, Eclipse,
and others is considered an advantage.

SOFT SKILLS: 

Proficiency in both oral and written English.
Problem solver, critical thinker, and effective speaker.
Self-driven avid teamworker with “can do” attitude and solid communication skills.
