Software Engineer – Turn 10 Studios – United States
Job Description:
As a Software Engineer on the game services team, you will design and develop services to support the features of our games. We push the envelope on technology, with each title looking to outdo ourselves. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple titles at once, across not just our studio, but also our partners at Playground Games.
Job Responsibilities
You will implement new features and collaborate with other engineers.
You will co-own the tools, infrastructure and development processes with the team.
You will troubleshoot issues in our production services for upcoming, current and previous titles.
You will collaborate with engineering teams from other Microsoft studios, keeping on top of current trends and working to push our technology forward.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
o OR equivalent experience.
Experience developing and deploying web services in a cloud environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on C++ game.
Engineering experience on shipped games.
Kubernetes and docker experience.
Experience with each phase of development and understanding of the priorities at each phase.
Experience working as individual contributor operating on their own and as part of team on a project.
