Infosys is seeking an Desktop Support Engineer, Candidate is responsible for maintaining and monitoring end-user workstations and productivity. This position performs a variety of maintenance, software installations, and break-fix support tasks to ensure end-users are capable performing the tasks required to complete their work.

Job Description:
•Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
•Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
•The IT Support Associate role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining company PC’s/ laptops, and helping users resolve issues with various IT equipment and services.
•Administers end-user workstations and supports end-user activities on a primarily Microsoft Windows-based domain.
•Experience working in ticketing systems
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software products
• Administers end-user workstations and supports end-user activities on a primarily Microsoft Windows-based domain.
• Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions within company guidelines; tests and implements solutions
• Installs, configures and maintains computers for new employees as well as file servers, and other related equipment, devices, systems and printers
• Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades
• Works in Active Directory to fix account issues, lockouts, and perform password resets.
• Troubleshoots network issues in remote locations
• Reconditions returned laptops
• Provides end user support to an internal client base of 4000+ users
•Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
•Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
