Job Responsibilities:

Identify business challenges
Understand operational, data, and information requirements for tax processes while understanding technology environment and interfaces
Develop recommendations and innovative, technology-driven approaches for improvement including optimizing resources, processes and controls, and technology
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Analytics, Data & Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking and problem- solving skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Basic knowledge of one or more technologies such as Excel, VBA, Power Query/Power Pivot, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, generative AI, SharePoint, R, Python, SQL Server, SAP, Oracle, ONESOURCE tax applications, Corptax, Longview

Advisory Intern, Federal Technology Enablement Data Science/Data Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams to identify business problems and assist in the development of processes and recommendations to help our Federal clients drive enterprise performance using available technology as an enabler
Rapidly iterate models and results to refine and assess approach; Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with both virtual and face-to-face interactions; Utilize structured approaches to solving problems, managing risks and documenting assumptions while communicating results and educating others through insightful visualizations, reports and presentations

Job Responsibilities:
Work with Tax business teams and KPMG clients to identify and analyze business problems, provide technical feasibility estimates and develop innovative approaches
Solve mission critical business problems working alongside our top technology teams as well as the most complex technical challenges in the areas including but not limited to Cloud Computing, Web-Development, Intelligent Automation, Data Engineering, Analytics
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions starting with broadly defined problems
Learn and acquire new skill set(s) as needed to create business solutions and keep abreast of latest tech trends
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within a collaborative environment while supporting the business and a variety of member firm clients within multiple industries
Qualifications:
