Analyst – VNOC- Meeting Producer
Job Description:
Responsible for building collaborative solutions and video conferencing using the unified communications infrastructure and enterprise infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to immersive telepresence solutions, collaboration through interactive displays, and integrating various technologies for seamless collaboration across the global enterprise.
Responsible for performing conferencing system testing and testing procedures to validate that individual components and the system are working correctly. This includes handling real-time, persistent monitoring during live events. Particular focus is required in the analysis of:
Network packet loss, latency, optimal audio fidelity, and content synchronicity. Determines infrastructure port capacity (RMX Server) to bridge all required meeting end points.
Assists with efforts for building collaborative solutions using the unified communications infrastructure and enterprise infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to immersive telepresence solutions, collaboration through interactive displays, and integrating various technologies for seamless collaboration across the global enterprise.
Manages and handles requests to ensure that the appropriate resources and infrastructure are allocated to support the collaborative experiences.
Responsible for contributing and works with team on training and process documentation.
Responsible for C-Suite level support for collaborative experiences, therefore this position will be privy to sensitive content, so strict adherence to the Privacy and Confidentiality Policies are must.
Handles site profiles that test Video Conference equipment with external client networks and software for compatibility with Deloitte’s VNOC.
Responsible for working directly with internal teams and vendors as needed for timely problem resolution of issues that are moderate in scope.
Follows standard protocols to respond to customer’s emails, IMs or phone. Escalates to senior-level team members when necessary.
This position will have on-call and night shift responsibilities as dictated by the business needs.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Developing knowledge in unified communications infrastructure and enterprise infrastructure (routers, switches, and servers).
Demonstrates understanding of technology necessary to support unified communications and visual collaboration experiences.
Ability to analyze data and compare with defined performance measures.
Limits the use of technical jargon in communications with non-technical audiences.
Demonstrates knowledge of key aspects of processes that measure performance.
Monitors identified risks and notifies leadership of issues that may have an impact on an organization.
Basic knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles.
General knowledge of information systems and cyber security.
Ability to communicate technical and security concepts to a non-technical audience, both via written and verbal communication.
Understands and articulates current technology offerings, frameworks, methods and tools.
Understands and monitors issues and trends with collaborative experiences.
Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience with unified communications and collaboration platforms.
Education (degree): B. Tech / BCA (a degree in Technology background is preferred).
