As part of this 24-month apprenticeship, you will join Engineering teams and will be assigned a manager and a host. You’ll start with a 16-week bootcamp with our training partner, Makers. You will spend around 20% of your time in off-the-job learning, and the rest can include rotations through multiple teams.

Current Google Apprenticeship 2024

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a team of Googlers to solve problems (e.g., exposure to coding, development, testing, and project management). You’ll learn how to apply problem solving skills to challenges, pick up new technical skills (e.g., programming in multiple languages, learn about software testing and other industry practices), and see how software is designed and developed.

Human Resources Apprenticeship, September 2024 Start – France

Job Responsibilities:

Provide general support to the People Consultants and People Partners in the operations organization. Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of projects or events.
Facilitate the new hire/transfer brief and coordinate the associated onboarding process.
Provide insightful data, develop and deliver documentation related to local employee relations, and collect, maintain, analyze, and track information.
Partner with Googlers to organize events locally.
Learn and master Google’s internal systems and run various reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a 1-year Master’s 2 degree in Human Resource or a related area.
Ability to communicate in English and French fluently.

Preferred:

Previous internship experience in Human Resources, Consulting, Customer Service, or a related field.
Experience in project management or organizing events.
Ability to complete a 12-month apprenticeship.

Customer Engineer Apprenticeship, Cloud Sales, September 2024 Start

Job Responsibilities:

Undertake training and follow mentoring as specified.
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a 2-year Master degree in Computer Science or a related technical area.
Admitted in the curriculum of a CFA (centre formation d’apprentis) and university or engineering school.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bac+2, Bac +3, Bachelor’s, License, or Master’s degree in Sales or Digital Marketing related subject.

Data Center Technician Apprentice, September 2024 Start – Netherlands

Job Description:

As a Data Center Technician Apprentice, you’ll deploy and maintain Google’s advanced Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure. You’ll work with the physical deployment of data center-related technology and work closely with various stakeholders. While in this role, you will be offered an introduction to the wider engineering world at Google. You will have the opportunity to develop within Hardware Operations or learn more about software development, networking operations, or our project management groups.

Job Responsibilities:

Install servers, switches, routers, and other networking gear.

Help test and troubleshoot server/network hardware components.

Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS boot related issues.

Resolve issues with broken equipment with little to no escalation.

Managing ticketing systems.

Qualifications:

MBO ICT student level 3 or 4 (middle-level applied education in the Dutch education system).

Experience with operating systems and networking protocols.

Experience with computer hardware and server hardware or troubleshooting/diagnosing.

Support your team in the development of software based on agreed projects and platforms.

Follow application and component level design working to standards and patterns agreed on by the team leads.

Follow coding standards and ensure compliance with quality measures.

Ensure code is tested in accordance with the guidelines provided by the team or your host.

Software Development Apprenticeship, Engineering, October 2024 Start – Ireland

As an Apprentice at Google, you will join a program that aims to provide the skills to become a software developer professional.

You will join a team at Google and will be assigned a manager for the duration of 24-month apprenticeship.

The program can include 2-3 rotations and you will be supported day-to-day by a host for each of them.

You will start in October 2024 with a 6-month offsite training with our educational partner, Fastrack to Information Technology (FIT) in a dedicated technology center.
