Cyber Infrastructure Apprentice – USA

Job Description:
Work with cross functional team to ensure that operational procedures adhere to policies, standards, and processes
Accountable for meeting task-specific service levels with respect to Member firm service and operational needs
Support facilitation of consistent application of cybersecurity policies and standards across technology projects, systems, and services, to include privacy, controls, risk management, and compliance
Maintain open communication with reporting manager and other leaders as appropriate regarding incidents/problems
Support the implementation of Cybersecurity requirements to stakeholders throughout the Deloitte network
Support various Cybersecurity initiatives to enhance and improve the Deloitte Technologies Cybersecurity program
Participate in team/service line/service area and Deloitte Technology wide meetings and assignments as assigned
Follow proper evidence handling procedures and chain of custody protocols, producing written reports documenting findings

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or IT related degree
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactivity in identification and resolution of issues
Ability to work in diverse, decentralized teams across diverse cultures
High degree of creativity
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Flexibility and a self-starter attitude
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask under pressure and project deadlines
Ability to work among multiple teams and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical team members
Proven teamwork qualities with emphasis on providing excellent customer service, team building, and strength-based teams
Good understanding of information security principles

Preferred:
Work experience in Information Technology
Good understanding of software, hardware, virtualization, cloud, and operating system concepts
Good understanding of common TCP/IP architecture, principles, operations, and controls.
Good understanding of basic networking concepts, such as routing, switching, firewall, and common enterprise security monitoring tools.
Good understanding of basic protocols used by the internet, such as HTTP(S), DNS, TLS.
