According to Ganesh Chandan, the chief human resource officer at Tata Projects, the company plans to hire 400 recent graduates in 2022–2023; 255 of them will be engineers from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The remaining individuals will be diploma holders from public polytechnic colleges.
According to The Economic Times, the engineering, procurement, and construction division of the Tata Group, Tata Projects, intends to hire 400 freshmen in FY23. 250 people were hired on campus in 2021–2022.
According to Ganesh Chandan V, the company’s chief human resource officer, Tata Projects would hire 255 engineers from the IITs and NITs out of the total target number and the remaining engineers from government polytechnic colleges.
Fresh engineers are hired from the mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines and are given annual packages of about 17 lakh, according to Chandan.
According to Chandan, there is a talent war in the infrastructure sector, and the company is attempting to expand its talent pool by luring freshers. According to the data, women made up 25% of all university hires this year.
