Software Engineer Internship (Operating System, Embedded, System Software)

Job Responsibilities :

Support embedded & system software projects by designing, developing and testing software functions for aviation software solutions

Assist documenting and building software functional requirements

Work as a member of the international team where English is the common language

Qualification: 

BS or MS or Ph.D. students, or recent graduates or those expected to graduate in 2024 or early 2025, majoring in computer science or engineering or related studies.

Knowledge of computer science/engineering fundamentals, such as data structure, software design, algorithms, etc

Coding experience in computer languages, such as C/C++, Python, Java, etc

Proper English communication skills (read and write)

Creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills

Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and expand their skillsets

Preferred:

Experience in Agile for software engineering

Experience in development environments such as Git CI/DevOps tools

Good to have knowledge and experience in avionics software components

What is a Technical Apprenticeship?

Boeing Technical Apprenticeship Program (BTAP), is an official registered apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL).

It is an earn and learn program including formal learning, on-the-job experiences, and mentorship.

Every graduate of a Registered Apprenticeship program will receive a nationally-recognized credential from the DOL.

Successful completion of the program also earns higher education credits that can be used towards graduate certificates and degreed programs.

What makes a great Technical Apprentice?

A degree is not required to apply for most technical apprenticeship programs. We select apprentices based on a range of core traits and skills, such as:

Programme Management Intern (Aircraft Modifications) – 12 Month Internship 2024 – UK

The successful candidate will work for the duration of their internship, within the Boeing Global Services Programme Management team based in Frimley, Surrey, U.K.

The Programme Management team manage the post-delivery modification of aircraft for our Customers.

The projects we typically manage involve the integration of new equipment into the aircraft, such as seating, IFE equipment and monuments (galleys, lavatories and stowages).

We frequently manage multiple stakeholders providing equipment and services to the Customer. Working together with the Engineering, Airworthiness and logistics teams you will manage the execution of the project within the schedule and budgetary constraints agreed.
