Internship Program: Operations Management

Internship Program
Over the course of this 12-week paid internship, students will engage in projects that hold tangible significance for our business while receiving guidance and mentorship from Eaton’s esteemed leaders. The Operations Management Internship develops students through practical manufacturing and operations experiences, as well as assist in the personal development of leadership attributes through training, networking, and coaching. The internship will help participants develop a wide range of leadership and functional responsibilities within the field of operations.

Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program within engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
- Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States
Preferred:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a major in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Prior internship or co-op experience
- Completion of sophomore year by the start of internship
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus/and or community
- Ability to speak a second language

Internship Program: Engineering Technology- Software
The Engineering and Technology Internship Program- Software track will provide exposure to projects in software development for various product applications. Assignments will either be supporting a specific business unit/product line or working with broader technologies across the enterprise.
Our strategic teams in this area are working on cutting edge technologies including:
- Development of IoT applications
- Firmware support for product lines
- Web/mobile app development
- Interface software development for smart grid applications

Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
- Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States
Preferred:
- Experience in software programming including Python and/or C++
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
- Prior internship or co-op experience

Associate Analyst, Indirect Tax – India
The Associate Analyst – Indirect Tax will be responsible for supporting various Eaton businesses and Legal Entities across EMEA region on Indirect Tax Compliance.
Job Responsibility :
- Data analysis of monthly AR, AP and GL reports
- VAT control checks based on the Indirect Tax Controls Framework
- Preparing and submitting of VAT, EC Transactions List and Intrastat declarations
- Completing reconciliation of the VAT General Ledgers to the VAT returns
- Reconciliation of VAT Balance Sheet Accounts as per Eaton Financial Policies
- Perform Control check as per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements
- Support the businesses and Plants during Tax and Statutory audits
- Partnering with the business on process improvements
- Completing reconciliation between VAT and Intrastat
- Completing reconciliation between VAT and EC Transactions Lists
- Electronic archiving of all documents per VAT, EC Transactions List and Intrastat declaration
- Active participation in key projects on process improvement and automation
- Administration tasks to be defined by the Manager
Work in a team environment to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation, leverage best practices and standardization.
Qualifications:
- CA/CMA with less than 2 years’ experience.
- Fresher can also be looked upon for this position
- Good accounting concepts and knowledge
- Should have a zeal to learn
- Must be a team player and should be very customer focused
- Must have good communication skill in English, both written and verbal
- Experience in administration and tax accounting will be desirable
- Good working knowledge in ERP’s such as Oracle, SAP etc is desirable
- Should have good skill set in MS Office
