SoC Design Engineer – USA

Job Description:

As a member of the team, the candidate would be responsible for driving scalable IP development while also making the Design Integration and SOC delivery a fully automated solution. Candidate will be part of an IP team working closely with other verification engineers, RTL design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members in determining the proper implementation strategy for new design, ensure quality of design, and develop test-plans, verification environment, and drive delivery to SoC. They will have an opportunity to learn and contribute towards making Intel Hardware more secure.

Excellent communication and organization skills are critical, along with teamwork, and must demonstrate strong technical skills, along with having passion for design or validation.
Must have strong orientation for Quality and Commit and Deliver and Drive Innovation/efficiencies and have strong strategic thinking to come up w/ paradigm shift solutions to critical design/validation challenges.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
0-2 years of relevant logic design/pre-silicon verification experience with multiple project cycles.

Advanced English level

Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.
0-2 years of logic design/pre-silicon verification experience with various tools and methodologies including but not limited to:
System Verilog
OVM / UVM
Scripting (Python/Perl/Shell)
RTL simulators
Interactive debugger
RTL model build
Work experience with system Verilog or OVM or UVM or Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
VLSI or Structural and Physical design flow/methodology experience.
Power management, IOSF, AHB, PCI express or any industry standard BUS protocol experience a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Development and support of software applications used by customers and staff for management of select infrastructure services.

Development may span the full application stack, using modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices.

Data Science (DS) Engineer – Ireland

Job Description:

Identify valuable data sources and set automated data collection process to build and manage the dataset used for yield analysis.

Processing of structured and unstructured data, and building predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

Work with Yield Modelling team to develop new yield analysis methods and algorithms to deliver world class yield analytics and machine-learning solutions in high-volume manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with Technology Development, Program Managers, Process Integration, Device Integration and Defect teams to identify yield and performance detractors and enhancement opportunities and support fast paced yield ramp-up in high-volume manufacturing phase.

Support development of models to predict production line yield accurately in early stage of Si progression and deliver proposals to benefit production yield.

Develop model and algorithms to improve and automate process control minimizing yield loss associated with tight process window.

Engineering support for technical interactions with internal and external customers.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering major.

3+ years’ experience in advanced node semiconductor industry in yield analysis and data science.

3+ years’ experience in program languages and big data to develop a new analysis method and algorithms using large amount of fab data. Expertise in big data analysis and machine-learning.

3+ years’ experience in Device Physics and overall FinFET process flow.

Preferred:

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in science and engineering major.

Experience in working or leading a TFT project.

Experience in serving external Foundry customers through technical interactions.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills including influencing, engaging, and motivating.

Experience in new semiconductor technology development.

Basic understanding on module processes including lithography, dry etch, wet etch, CMP, diffusion, implant, thin films and metrology.

Job Responsibilities:

Driving design for a compilation flow that will scale to future Neural Network architectures and target platforms.
