Internship, Service Technician Trainee (Fall 2024)
Job Description:
Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars
Maintain inventory, records of time, shop supplies and parts
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
Support Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basis
Qualification:
Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
Valid driver’s license required
Must be capable of reporting to training location or local service center as needed
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a “safety first” attitude
Familiar understanding of the English language
Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Internship, Vehicle Accessories & Merchandise Product Intern Global Merchandise (Spring 2025)
As a product intern for the vehicle accessory and merchandise business, you will be working directly with the Program and Product Managers with a focus on ensuring all products are on track for upcoming launches. This includes but is not limited to:
Test fitting accessories on vehicles, photoshoot coordination, marketing strategy, copy readiness, inventory readiness and overall merchandising strategy within the Tesla Shop website.
Support in events where product is planned to be featured or sold.
In addition, you will be involved in providing insights from market research, sales data and customer feedback to make decisions for future product development.
We’re looking for someone who has an incredible attention to detail, has strong communication skills, is extremely organized and who has a passion for product development and business operations of aftermarket accessories and merchandise as it ties back to Tesla’s overall mission.
Qualification:
Currently pursuing degree in Business, Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field that relates to product development/innovation
Evidence of exceptional ability in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influential in a broader organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wrike and other project management tools
Highly collaborative, team oriented and comfortable leading cross-functional projects and bringing creative and innovative ideas to the team
Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for the duration of internship program

Internship, FP&A & Business Operations (Summer 2025)
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) works with our Finance and Accounting leadership team and other subgroups to: Lead Tesla’s P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecast process, including reviewing with Tesla’s Leadership and Board of Directors and working with finance and non-finance stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions Develop and track cross-company efforts to improve gross margin and cash flow Lead long term planning for Tesla, including new products/capabilities, and capital need
Qualification:
Interns will be assigned to one of the above subgroups based on prior experience, interests, and educational background.
Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s student working towards a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent

Customer Experience Specialist, Perth – Australia
Job Description:
Welcome customers to the Tesla family by ensuring that their delivery day is a delightful experience.
Educate customers about the basic features and functions of their vehicles.
Assist the Store Leader with delivery operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Coordinate vehicle staging and host delivery appointments, including new owner orientations tailored to the individual customer’s needs and comfort level.
Demonstrate mastery of all Tesla products and services, along with local incentives for EV owners.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate with the vehicle readiness team to conduct final inspections for quality before vehicle delivery.
Provide constructive feedback to program management and other stakeholders to enhance departmental efficiency and promote improvements across the company.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to seamlessly coordinate various aspects of delivery day, (such as Sales, Service, and Remarketing Teams).

Associate Energy Systems Technical Support Engineer – Australia
Job Description:
Provide the highest level of customer support by answering customer inquiries
Maintain a high fleet availability through pro-active monitoring and resolving issues before they impact the customer
Evaluate the needs of customers and work in a creative, pro-active manner to resolve technical issues with the battery systems
Educate our Installers and customers so they have optimal confidence in the operation of their energy storage system
Determine if a technical solution can be resolved remotely or if on-site service is required
Communicate customers concerns with NOC Managers, Service Engineering, or Field Service as necessary
Accurately record issues and data into a CRM database
This role may require shifted workweek to provide weekend support
Qualification:
Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience, preferably with an electrical, electronics, or mechatronics engineering background
Excellent written and oral English communications skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities
Experience with CRM systems and MS Office Suite
Energy industry experience or background in a technical support
Understanding of distributed generation and/or energy storage systems preferred
