Job Description:
The Developing Engineer opportunities sit within the Automotive area of our Engineering, Research and Development business (ER&D). Our Automotive team works on every phase of vehicle development from concept to Vehicle Launch and we have expertise across the vehicle including Body Engineering (Interior/Exterior/Structures), Chassis, Powertrain, Vehicle Engineering etc. We have the capability to deliver for vehicle programmes for our customers.
We will support and give guidance on the work you do but we will also give you responsibility and ultimately the pace and direction of your development is within your own control. We will provide development sessions but we think what you will find the most valuable will be working closely with our experienced Engineers on innovative, and sometimes demanding, customer programmes.
We work to exacting standards for design integrity, safety and quality. Day-to-day you can expect to be working within multi-disciplined project teams and getting involved across the whole vehicle development life-cycle.
Qualification:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering related discipline (e.g. Automotive Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
• Knowledge of Production Engineering processes
• Passion for the Automotive sector
