Sourcing Engineer – US

In this job you are responsible for the purchase of components for the industrial air compressors and driers that meet the requirements in terms of quality, price and delivery performance.

You manage the supplier’s market for these components in an active way, meaning you are responsible for:

Good material knowledge, knowledge about canopy parts bending, welding processes, and pressured vessels

Ability to read and write technical specifications is preferable

Project implementation

Exploring new suppliers, sourcing opportunities locally and internationally

The supplier selection process incl. price analyses and price negotiations

Identification of product and/or process optimization leading to the definition and implementation of cost-reduction projects

Close cooperation with Planning, Engineering team, and other stakeholders

Regularly be a part of new projects and search/procuring project’s special parts from the local & foreign market

Attending global meetings and communicating with attendees in English properly

Challenging and optimizing product specification in close cooperation with our engineering team

Optimization of supply chain process according to projects

Follow-up of quality performance (together with the SQA engineer) and delivery performance.

Monitor and support inventory management activities, together with Planning and Production team.

Experienced in Supplier relationship management, and multi-supplier management: Maintaining, developing, and controlling existing relations with suppliers

Qualification:

2 to 4 years of purchasing, and sourcing experience in a global company.

Good negotiation skills, ability to express oneself (verbal and written)

Experience in a technical function or production environment is an asset.

Experienced in ERP programs

Preferred responsible commodity: fabrication parts, compressor electronic components, OEM parts one or all

Absence of domestic and international travel barriers

English is a must, actively used in Projects

Good command of Turkish and English

Knowledge

Preferably from the Mechanical Engineering department of the university.

You have a profound knowledge of English. Other languages are a plus.

Field Service Engineer – Singapore

Carry out daily jobs as assigned / instructed by the Supervisor / Manager

Follow all instructions given in the scope of works as per service work order

Test run and monitor serviced units, record all readings to ensure units are running at satisfactory conditions

Write reports of jobs carried out on the service work order or recommend any follow up actions if needed.

Explain to customer if any follow up or repair jobs are needed

Maintain cleanliness at compressor room and surrounding area before leaving customer’s premise..
