The HR Analytics & Data Governance Consultant I will support the Employee Relations/Life Events/Health & Benefits/Shared Services teams.

HR Analytics & Data Governance Consultant I

Job Description:
Provide consulting expertise and work closely with internal clients to understand underlying business needs and availability of information.
Develop solutions that can be implemented and used to derive insight, improve decision making, and streamline processes
Support business analysis, develop dashboards, key metrics, and business requirements via the information contained within various data sources
Partner with various teammates for the production and management of monthly reporting and dashboards




Occasional after hours support as needed for critical events
Identify opportunities to automate how data is used for reporting/dashboards – move clients heavy manual data preparation towards automated solutions leveraging tools such as Alteryx and Tableau
Sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
Prioritize the work, manage the delivery, scheduling, follow up
Manage expectations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Big picture/ability to connect the dots, visionary, intellectual curiosity
Business knowledge/acumen
Data steward/risk mitigation/Gatekeeper
Testing & QA skills




Minimum 2 years of HR analytical experience or successful performance in a role with strong analytical focus
Solid understanding of data visualizations tools such as i.e. Tableau, Microstrategy, Alteryx etc.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated relationship management skills/experience including the ability to communicate and influence at the senior leader level.
Proven data orientation and analytic skills, as well as, the ability to apply a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results, arrive at logical conclusions, and recommend solutions ; inclusive of data mining and ad hoc reporting
Excellent team collaborator in addition to being able to work independently
