GWIM Entry Operations Representative, Trade Settlement
Job Description:
The GWIM Operations Representative is responsible for the daily monitoring and reconciliation of all Trading ledgers with regards to Domestic Mutual Funds, Money Markets, Bank Products, and UST.
Job responsibilities:
Daily review of Trade Settlement Ledgers balances to identify and resolve breaks and out of balances
Daily statistical reporting to Management of current exposure and expectation of resolution
Facilitation of manual money movements and journal entries as needed.
Additional responsibilities include building strong relationships with contacts at Mutual Fund Companies, Transfer Agents, and other areas/teams within Merrill Lynch.
Required skills:
Proficient in PC applications, especially Excel
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
Must be comfortable in an environment with a heavy focus on numeric analysis and accuracy
Attention to detail is crucial for team processes
Must be able to work well under pressure and exercise sound judgment
Expected to demonstrate leadership qualities and be a team player, and must have consistently demonstrated such attributes with past positions or assignments
Bachelor’s degree preferred
