Analyst – GBS – India
Job Responsibilities:
Create tools to monitor loans/leverage from long position of clients
Monitor value of collateral held as security declines below the loan value and client is unable to pay the deficit
Design in-house risk based margin methodologies to determine the maximum loss of a portfolio
Create scenarios based on risk parameters like liquidity, macro events, geographic mix etc., to run simulations on portfolio value Create periodic strategy notes/reports by studying historical percentiles on price, asset volatility etc.
Run sample portfolio using in-house margin methodologies and tools to generate margin report
Generate accurate risk summaries at different levels (position, client, fund, regional, global) to analyze significant changes in client portfolios
Manage and execute ad hoc projects for the risk team
Extract historical data from Bloomberg and in-house sources and run analytics to determine meaningful output
Back-test trading strategies, apply statistical analysis, research, advise and consult LOBs on the best custom risk management techniques
Build tools from scratch by using programming languages to help data and results from various sources interact with each other

Analyst, Business Control – US
Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with primary responsibilities being to:
Work within the GM BCO function, providing expertise together with others, maintaining global transparency and consistency (where appropriate) of roles, processes and accountabilities, and enhance governance and associated documentation;
Work with global GM BCO and internal stakeholders to identify control gaps, design, implement and track through SIAIs remedial actions to close and continue to improve conduct and culture within the business and wider organization;
Support the bank’s Trade Surveillance Framework in the FLU or 1st Line responsibilities, including design, implementation, parameter setting, regular reviews, venue coverage, data quality, alert dispositioning and investigations;
Provide BCO input into Enterprise and Global Markets policies and procedures;
Represent Global Markets BCO at various committees, forums and meetings as required; and
Act as an escalation point to BCO and local FLU leadership for any items that require escalation, awareness or approval.
Qualification:

Job Responsibilities
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the Australian Financials (primarily Banks) industry.
Build, maintain and update company models and statistics databases;
Writing reports on individual companies and the market sectors;
Responding to client requests for data and information;
Assisting in the design and preparation of analyst marketing materials;
Collaborating with domestic, regional and global colleagues on research projects;
Developing relationships and interacting with colleagues in research, equity sales and trading, as well as institutional clients, investor relations, company management and other industry participants;
Be responsible for the specific analysis of individual companies and their equities within the Australian Financials sector;

Preferred Qualifications/skills
Excellent academic record with a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;

Provide support in analyzing existing and new policies applicable to Global Markets and Global Banking Asia and implement processes to ensure compliance with these changes.
