Analyst – India
Job Description:
Process transactions in accordance to approved process and procedures, international regulations and within pre-agreed service levels and with speed and accuracy.
Adhere to quality control discipline, procedures and checks at all times.
Day to day query resolution, with upward escalation of more complex queries to the management team.
Report issues and concerns as soon as possible to seniors/ team leaders/ managers etc in time and with complete information, in which effort is made to prevent or limit possible damage.
Responsible for driving own performance management, collating relevant documentation, preparing for and arranging self-performance reviews.
Thorough solution of queries & identify improvements to processes.
Maintain effective performance by being adaptable and positive in approach to dynamic business circumstances, questioning procedures and proactively seeking solutions.
Job Requirement:

Job Description:

Application Support Analyst – USA
Job Description:
• Focusing on contributing to the establishment of a SRE practice/discipline within Corporate GTSM and help to drive the agenda throughout
• Helping to reduce MTTR throughout the department (Mean Time to Repair) and improve stability
• Being consistently excellent at all we do and help to drive this mindset throughout the department – Making everything we touch better
• Helping to drive Full Stack Observability throughout the department and role model how this can be used to achieve our objectives and reduce MTTR

Qualification:

Software Engineer – UK, Europe
Job Description:
• Leading and driving all agile ceremonies (planning/stand-ups/retro etc.) to ensure high velocity is maintained
• Identifying repetitive or time-consuming processes that can be automated, especially where they benefit multiple business areas
• Consuming and producing data from a variety of sources, outputting where necessary to downstream applications, or updating the source
• Working on a variety of deliveries/initiatives and managing the IPR of the bank
• Owning the application support when there is an incident that requires L3 involvement, to fully understand problems, communicate and implement any resolution
• Analysing and identifying common problems and look to provide root cause analysis to build up a comprehensive knowledge base to reduce future issues
• Evaluating, piloting and implementing a range of new technologies, in line with Barclays’ Divest/Invest strategy
• Working closely with geographically distributed teams to ensure best utilization of resource and allocation of project work
Qualification:
• Excellent knowledge of working on UNIX environment with exposure to one or more well-known UNIX flavours such as IBM AIX, HP-UX, Red Hat Linux
• Someone who is aware of the concept of job scheduling, batch jobs etc and has exposure to one or more of scheduling tools such as IBM TWS, Autosys, cronjob etc
• Has excellent knowledge of RDBMS concepts such as primary keys, joins, indexes, triggers, cursors etc and has worked on at least one project involving pl/sql, stored procedures
• Knowledge of CICD, DevOps, source control, unit and integration testing, continuous integration, release management, and other software development practices
Skills that will help you in the role
• Preferable to have end to end knowledge of Sanctions/Screening data flow
• Having Alert Workflow management experience is preferred
