Associate, Treasury and ALM II – US
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Treasury & ALM II to join our Corporate Treasury team. This role is located in New York, NY– HYBRID.
Job Description:
Key contributor to the Interest Rate Risk team’s reporting of the Corporation’s Net Interest Income (NII) monthly forecast process delivering results and attribution, and responsible for generating interest rate scenarios from which NII and Economic Value of Equity (EVE) are calculated
Is beginning to build foundational knowledge spanning the range of treasury, capital and ALM categories across the organization and its varied products/services.
With guidance, collects financial data and runs basic calculations used as inputs into various capital management, IRR, liquidity and asset/liability models or analyses.
Escalates work to more senior team members for quality review.
Develops and produces interest rate risk reports and briefings for senior management and governance forums such as Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), highlighting operational activities/outcomes, identifying risks and recommending proposed solutions
Ensures recommendations align to the corporate Treasury strategies
Assist in strategic risk assessments and analysis for senior management
Maintains documentation and performs controls related to production activities including completing risk assessments and internal tracking and resolution of process improvements and control issues
Partner with Treasury subject matter experts to ensure efficiency and appropriate execution of Corporate Treasury strategies
Make and defend key trade-offs between model accuracy and complexity, in line with team’s overall strategic objectives
Manages the collection, validation and analyses of financial data underpinning the Bank’s interest rate risk framework
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics preferred.
Progress towards an MBA, FSA, FRM, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred
General understanding of accounting functions and terminology, as well as fixed income metrics.
0-3 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in Corporate Treasury / Finance
Management & Analysis / Planning & Analysis / CFO team in a financial services firm preferred.
Knowledge of balance sheet and financial instruments, finance / management reporting systems, and Net Interest Income
Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word. Power BI a plus
Experience with interest rate risk management, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations preferred
Strong presentation skills and executive presence, as this role will be interacting with senior management.
Strong organizational skills and proactive nature (expected to drive creative solutioning without significant guidance)

Associate, Credit Services Administration – US
Job Description:
Accountable for loan administrative activities, including the review of control reports, ensuring that all documentation policy exceptions are cleared timely and open receivables are resolved
Interface with Lenders on client onboarding, billing and loan reconciliation and issue resolution
Ability to interpret loan documents and support credit facility set-up
Responsible for monitoring loan processing activities, ensuring timely loan funding and payment processing; support regulatory reporting data collection
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
1-3 years of total work experience preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Associate, Reconciliation Representative I – India
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in the data analysis of reconciliations.
Participates in identifying trends, providing root cause analysis and execution on recommendations.
Shadows more senior staff in conducting technical testing and the implementation of reconciliation software.
Assists in the creation of new technology communication, documentation and business case creation.
With guidance from senior staff, responsible for the root cause analysis of reconciliation breaks.
Assists in the creation of the data analysis conclusions, recommendations and updates to initiatives to senior staff.
Qualification:
Any Graduate or Post-graduate
2-4 years of experience in data analysis and technical background
Must have worked on MS Excel

Loans Administrator and Data Analyst – UK
Job Description:
Cash reconciliation of client operating accounts
Administration of loan and bond portfolios
Monitor receipt and disbursement of funds through to settlement
Execute funds transfer from/to accounts
Regular communication with external parties, including but not limited to, the portfolio manager, loan agents, trading counterparties, auditors, rating agencies
Act as a support to the Client Service Manager who has overall responsibility for ensuring that the duties as contracted are being provided by BNY
Participate in various projects such as new deal closings and any other projects as assigned
Qualification:
Fluency in English
An interest in a career in financial services
Finance university background or similar field will be an advantage, however we equally welcome graduates of all degrees
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines
PC literacy, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Previous experience in finance / banking area will be an asset
