Risk Management & Sourcing IT Co-op Spring 2024 – Remote

This position entails assisting in the execution of high-performance data centric solutions leveraging data management capabilities for the global Risk Management and Sourcing (RMS) teams. In this role, you will assist on data access pathways and techniques, data cleansing and manipulations and collaborating with other system and technology team members to bring together data from multiple sources to provide reports and tools that unlock insights for RMS formulation, risk management, competitive intelligence, and cost into pricing teams. Job Description:

Collaborate with a variety of partners to define requirements and implement solutions for Global RMS teams.

Gather, verify, and manipulate data for report and tool generation.
Perform data mining, queries, and audits of data from different data sources.
Manage access to reports and tools.
Handle basic issues and feedback from users, while escalating more complex issues to team members.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently received a bachelor’s degree with a major OR minor in Information Systems/Business Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field
Graduating with a degree between May 2023 and Summer 2025
Able to complete a 6-8 month co-op (Jan/Feb – June/July)
Experience with database and data manipulation tools
Knowledge in reporting, analytics, or performance measurement fields
Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance

Preferred:

Experience working big data platform and building solutions
Experience with cloud platforms and reporting tools
Data manipulation and analysis experience using spreadsheets, databases and data manipulation tools
Experience pulling information from various systems and databases

Capital Project Engineer – USA

Prepare and execute on strategies and project plans for engineering and technical projects, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, budgets, coordinating schedules, status reporting and all tasks associated with the project and coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
Develop project schedules by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports and recommend appropriate actions.

Analytical Development Specialist – Netherlands

Apply an understanding of statistics for validation of analytical methods and provide support to help establish and define controls to ensure stable operability.
Assist in the development and documentation of plans for general projects, including equipment and capabilities required and for the identification of project success measures.
Assist in the development of new or existing analytical chemistry and technology and help to translate the analytical discoveries of research into practical analytical methods that allow final implementation.
Stay ahead of new analytic methodologies and technologies and collaborate with business functions to drive work solutions and direction.
Execute analyses with current set of high-end equipment, included a large variety of accessories in chromatography and spectroscopy. Knowledge of data acquisition software, thermal analyses, light microscopy, NMR, and GC-MS is a plus.
Manage incoming requests for Reach registration, including taking care of sample coordination. Defining and selecting the appropriate set of analytical techniques following a logical path, planning and setting achievable deadlines, performing analyses and writing dossiers for relevant Cargill Bioindustrial products.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Ability to present and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders with a high level of written and spoken English

Job Description:

Conduct hands-on research and independently execute on microbial metabolic engineering techniques such as DNA cloning, PCR, DNA transformation, gel electrophoresis.
Develop new methods, perform and optimize processes for cell growth, protein expression, purification, quality control and screening.
Stay informed of new laboratory technologies being used in the field.
