Associate Engineer – DataDoc Mgmt – Philippines

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the maintenance, assurance, technical support, and standardization of Shell’s Upstream, IG and Downstream assets technical data.

This role is expected to assist with the implementation of Data/Document Control procedures and operationalising systems, processes and work instructions as per the Information Management Plan. You will also ensure Data/Document Management consistency across all Projects, rigorously, often times maintaining control and traceability of the documentation from Project initiation throughout to completion for a portfolio of small to medium sized projects.

Qualifications:

Preferably a graduate of Engineering, with 2-5 years of experience handling technical documentation in the Oil and Gas or related industry.

Experience working in an ERT or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP/Blueprint.

Experience working in an Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS.) such as AIM-EDMS / ASSAI / AHA.

Experience in applying document management standards (such as Document Numbering schemes), metadata management, and working in an established document management workflow.

Technical Documentation of Project Drawings – IFR/IFC’s, Level Sketches, P&IDs, PEFs, etc., Vendor/OEM Manuals, Equipment Diagrams

Experience in AIM-EDMS, ASSAI, and Primavera is a big advantage.

Experience in Engineering Projects as part of project controls team is an advantage.

Engineer – PTM – India

Job Description:

Carry out surveillance for various upstream, downstream and integrated gas facilities of Shell using exception-based tools.

Understand existing surveillance processes/practices in place in Shell assets such as the EBS workflow and work in close collaboration with Central PTM centers such as ARCH and Bridge

Support Shell assets in improving reliability through monitoring of facilities and equipment and prevent unscheduled deferments

Filter true alerts from the system and provide recommendations/actions to asset engineers to mitigate the same

Support various Shell processes through Predictive Analytics and help it to become a feeder to processes like Manage threat and Opportunities & MEC (Manage Equipment Care)

Support assets in achieving their KPIs through monitoring – help in improving process efficiency, reliability, health of equipment and over all process

Post deployment monitoring of models to be carry out for regular surveillance. Vet alerts and communicate relevant anomalies with recommended actions to the asset engineers alerts to assets

Requirements

University Degree in Chemical\Instrumentation & Control\ Electronics and Instrumentation

Minimum 3+ years of work exp. after Graduate Degree & overall working experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals.

Good hands-on knowledge in field instrumentation like Smart Transmitters, Control valves, Flow Sensors for P, T, level etc.

Knowledge in DCS, PLC , ESD system

Overview of architecture, control logics, cause and effect diagrams

Proficient in reading P&IDs and good understanding of process narratives and manuals

Good discipline knowledge and should be able to practically apply that to the proactive monitoring work process

Proficiency in real time data, Advance skills in MS excel, smart platforms and smart connects applications etc.,

Effective communication skill and stakeholder management is a necessary skill for the job

The Projects Portfolio Cost Engineer scope involves supporting the delivery of consistent and appropriate cost management structures/tools/processes for Portfolio of small Capital Projects (site) throughout all the phases.

Assist the development and implementation of CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure) for Capital Projects portfolio, the estimate breakdown, and WBS (as applicable).

Qualifications:

Engineering/Technologist Degree and/or Certification as a Cost Engineer or equivalent experience.

Preferably with at least 2 years refinery or petrochemical industry experience in cost engineering / costcontrols.

Experience in Cost Engineering / CostControls positions for portfolio capital projects

Works effectively in a Team environment and build consensus & Customer focus.

Working knowledge of a broad range of Project Controls systems, tools, and practices specifically in Oil & Gas industry.

Strong leadership, communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.
