Fund Accounting Associate Analyst – Hybrid
The Fund Accounting Associate Analyst is an entry level position responsible for assisting in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations – Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in distributing fund data to internal and external business partners as well as coordinate and review offshore production activities
Ensure accurate fund records through review of reconciliation reports
Communicate cash position to the investment advisor as well as research cash and funding holdings differences with custodian
Help process, balance, and reconcile shareholder activity with transfer agent
Calculate daily net asset value and market value of portfolio holdings
Provide support on audits and review work for adherence to procedures and compliance requirements
Analyze/monitor client budgets and ensure fund expenses are paid in a timely manner
Assist in completing all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements as well as assist with the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and board materials
Assist in preparing and calculating tax information and reporting requirements
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Investment Funds Operations Junior Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
Processing, verification and record keeping for investment products based on the provided documentation and instruction.
Support Investment Operations in daily activities.
Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls
Identifying inconsistencies in the process and mitigating risks in a timely and efficient manner.

Treasury Funding Operations Junior Analyst
Job Description:
Prepare Treasury forecasts for approximately 40 currencies across Western Europe
Monitor Nostro account balances and align reporting to Market Currency Cut-offs
Review and analyse complex financial transactions
Ensure daily cut-off times for reconciliation of Nostro accounts are met
Collect information from various banking systems
Effective communication with departments whose work is related to nostro cash management, including the Markets Treasury trading desk

Associate Finance Tax Analyst – Hybrid
Job Description:
Execute functions from the Tax Information Reporting process tree including, but not limited to, tax form validation, withholding, information reporting, legal entity maintenance, and governance.
Act as a tax information reporting specialist (and potentially team leader) to execute operational and project initiatives
Act as an internally and externally recognized subject matter expert.
Migration of work into our centralized hub
Develop best practices and implement appropriate procedures and controls to ensure consistent compliance with Information Reporting, FATCA, and/or CRS requirements.
Support Tax Information Reporting Service Delivery model with all stakeholders
Identify and participate in process re-engineering and re-design activities to achieve better controls, compliance, and efficiencies.
Support audits by tax authorities and Internal Audit
Support Technology projects from a tax technical perspective
Contribute towards departmental requirement to adhere to strict regulatory and compliance requirements per tax authority and Citi policy.
Perform reviews of written tax policy and procedures, research and respond to inquiries from operational areas
Qualifications:
1-2 years of professional experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of U.S. tax information reporting rules applicable to U.S. Persons and non-U.S. Persons
Basic understanding and working knowledge of IRS Forms W-9 and W-8 and their associated requirements; Forms 1098, 1099 series, and 1042-S; Forms 945 and 1042
Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders.
Provide basic advisory services primarily for internal clients.
Ability to examine processes and procedures, experience with Process Re-engineering. Re-design and Process Automation experience is preferred.
