IT Business Analyst Principals
Job Description:
Perform Enterprise Analysis and liaise between business and technology to translate tactical and strategic objectives into workable solutions and coordinate the remediation of deficiencies
Work with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the information systems.
Lead and conduct solutions assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization or across organizations.
Reviews test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing the solutions to ensure that it meets functional and non-functional requirements.
Plan the Business Analysis Approach to define system scopes and requirements and manage changes to the project scope or deliverables.
Escalate highly complex issues to subject matter experts.
Prioritize requirements based on their relative value, risk, difficulty of implementation, urgency, likelihood of success, and regulatory compliance by reviewing Requirements Analysis and making recommendations.
Articulate what constitutes business success for a given initiative.
Develop requirements documents, user documentation, manuals, training materials, and job aids.
Review test plans and Six Sigma DMAIC testing methodology to mitigate risks and to ensure the systems meet functional and performance requirements.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Management or Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software or Computer Engineer, IT Business Analyst, Consultant or Team Leader, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Management or Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Software or Computer Engineer, IT Business Analyst, Consultant or Team Leader, or related position.
