Job Description:

If you’re an experienced, hands-on IT professional with strong systems administration, engineering and cyber security technical skills who’s interested in growing in the cybersecurity field, this may be the job for you.

As part of our Cyber Data Protection team, you will be assisting in designing, deploying and managing technology and process solutions to reduce the potential of data compromise.

You will be assisting with testing of data protection and data security solutions.

You will work to enhance and mature cyber security data protection capabilities for Deloitte US Member Firm.

You will require an understanding of the entire ecosystem of data protection including well-rounded understanding of the information security domains and their inter-relations across that ecosystem. You will be responsible for providing technical product and troubleshooting assistance to Deloitte Employees.

You will work closely with management, leads, peers, development teams, business analysts, and end users to ensure data protection for systems are used by all areas the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • As part of the US Cyber Data Protection team, you will have the following core responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development, deployment, and support of data protection solutions
  • Assist with the implementation of data security controls and design principles
  • Assist in rolling out new data protection services to employees, getting them adopted and providing on-going support for those services
  • Assist with technology and software reviews based on data protection and endpoint risks
  • Provide technical engineering and troubleshooting support to employees for data protection services

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized/accredited university
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of combined experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity domain
  • Hands on experience working with few of the following data protection technologies:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technology
  • Data Access Governance technology
  • Data Discovery, Retention and Destruction technologies
  • Data Classification and Rights Management technology
  • Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technology
  • Web Security and SSL Decryption technology
  • Web Application Firewall (WAF) technology
  • SSL Certificate and Encryption Key Lifecycle Management technology
  • Database Encryption technologies
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues and assisting end users to mitigate issues
  • Familiarity with change management and deployment processes in large IT organizations
  • Working knowledge with common IT technologies such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix,
  • Databases, Active Directory/LDAP, virtualization, end-user devices etc.

Analyst/Senior Analyst – CMG – GPS – Opportunity Awareness

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review opportunity notices posted to on multiple US Government sources daily
  • Scan through solicitation documents to understand the scope of services requested in the
  • Statement of Work, to see if they fit Deloitte’s service offerings, and to ascertain the true “buying client” so data can be summarized, presented, and tracked.
  • E-mail distribution of the opportunity notifications to the relevant Deloitte Stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed tracking records of all opportunity notifications and related communications.
  • Report opportunity notification “reviewed” and “sent” metrics and opportunities that were “reviewed but not sent” each day.
  • Work on ad hoc projects and data calls related to opportunity analysis and pursuit related research.
  • Understand and quickly adapt to changing requirements or priorities.
  • Aggregate relevant data and present using PowerPoint and Excel tools.
  • Help review/update/verify our back-end data on a consistent basis.
  • Perform reach-outs to client-facing practitioners to inquire about Mercury IDs.

Job Requirement:

  • Ability to research multiple databases, extract and distribute information.
  • Prompt decision making and providing the necessary justification for actions taken on the opportunities reviewed
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly in macros would be a plus but is not required.
  • Ability to work with Pivot tables, and quickly manipulate and analyze data per requirement.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and logical reasoning skills
  • Exhibit ability to synthesize, organize and present information in structured manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent team player with experience working and driving conversations with virtual teams
  • Attention to detail and adherence to quality guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively work autonomously in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Qualifications

1 – 5 Year experience in business research and reporting
