Job Description:

Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.

Assists in the analysis and evaluation of application functionality. Documents recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.

Contributes to the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications. Configures and verifies application setup and configuration.

Develops expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality. Provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.

Contributes to the analysis of potential application solutions, Able to document recommended solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.

Works with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.

Documents and reviews functional, architecture and technical requirements and designs for process owners, business analysts, and architects.

Contributes knowledge and serves as a contact resource for content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed).

Documents functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.

Qualification:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Quality Engineer – Europe

Job Description:

The Site Quality Engineer creates value by supporting the assigned site with continuous improvement towards defect-free processes that satisfy customer needs and achieve business results.

Responsible for applicable systems related to plant customer issues such as corrective requests.

Ensures products and processes meet initial and long-term quality standards (Examples: IATF, customer specific requirements, Advanced Product.

Quality Planning (APQP), Product Parts Approval Process (PPAP) documentation submittal etc.).

Supports change management activities for current product and Value Package Introduction (VPI) by supporting verification of products and processes to ensure key measures are met and analyzing data for decision support.

Supports and or leads less complex quality audits.

Supports the prioritization of continuous improvement with cross functional key business partners by utilizing industry proven methodology (Example: Lean Manufacturing, 7 step problem solving, Intelligent Quality Tools and Methods (IQTM), etc.).

Qualification:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is preferred.

Job Description:

This dual product/customer focused position acts as technical liaison between the Cummins field service organization and the Engineering, Quality, & Manufacturing organizations to proactively identify, define, and prioritize product issues and to implement both short-term and long-term solutions.”

Investigates product or system problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.

Applies and supports product problem solving processes such as the seven-step problem solving approach and tools such as the product development roadmap to enable high-quality repair events.

Prepares the service channel for efficient service events, confirming that parts and special tools are available, service information (including diagnostics) is accurate and translated, and special care is ready for customers of new products.

Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.
