Development Engineer – United Kingdom (On-site)
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the development of parts of our sensor systems, working to a high level of technical competence and applying an appropriate level of design rigour to make justified engineering decisions. This will require a strong understanding of fundamental principles, simulation and experimentation.
Communicate the justification for design decisions clearly in writing and verbally.
Specify critical requirements and acceptance criteria for design subcontractors, handle the relationship, on time delivery and knowledge transfer so that we can understand the design and can fault-find.
Specify and handle the manufacture of components for verification testing and review appropriate verification tests and results.
Deliver your tracks in the project on time following our new product development processes to ensure the right things are done at the right time.
Develop your areas of domain expertise in others in the team. The technologies we use in our system typically have a strong interdependence. Having a broad understanding of the science driving these interdependencies is important.
Transfer knowledge through written and verbal communication to embed key knowledge.
Understand and apply relevant design standards, particularly design for equipment in hazardous areas.
Qualification:
BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD package to produce 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings and photorealistic renders.
Able to perform FEA (stress and thermal modelling)
Familiar with wide range of manufacturing process including die-casting, injection moulding and sheet metal fabrication.
Experience of product development lifecycle in and industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with PLM tools (Enovia or similar)
Familiar with the use of FMWE, DFM and DFA

RF Hardware Engineer – New Grad – US
This entry level RF Design Engineer position is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, interface with manufacturing partners, and meet with internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain solutions worldwide.
Job Responsibilities :
Design and simulate RF/microwave circuits, design complete system products, and validate designs using measurement instrumentation
Manage the lifecycle of products under development

Hardware Analog Engineer – Malaysia (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
Research and propose alternative parts with effective solutions in consideration of avoiding major software & product calibration, hardware topology changes to replace EOL parts in T&M products.
Implement and simulate designs through CAD and synthesis tools. i.e. Mentor Graphics.
Verify and validate designs of hardware re-designs. Debug any issues that may arise.
Have good knowledge in failure analysis to root cause failures during early VnV and MFG builds.
Integrate DFM inputs from MFG to improve product yield & quality

CAD Designer – US
Are you a hardworking individual looking for an opportunity for growth? If so, Emerson has an excellent opportunity located in Marshalltown, Iowa. The CAD Designer takes charge of crafting mechanical engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and handling part numbers in system. This role supports both the design of new products and the improvement of existing designs, collaborating closely with various departments including engineering, simulation, manufacturing, marketing, and suppliers.
Precision in calculations such as minimum wall checks, stem lengths, surface areas, and unit conversions (mm to inch) is important for producing accurate 2D layouts and comprehensive 3D assembly models. Additionally, the role involves data entry and maintenance tasks within the Oracle database system, supporting multi-functional operations across the organization.
This position requires excellent skills in communications, process improvement, as well as configuration of CAD Software. You will need to have strong CAD skills and understanding of the SolidWorks & PDM Pro software.
Qualification:
An Associate’s degree in a CAD-related field or a degree in industrial technology, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, industrial design, or similar field.
Must be proficient in parametric modeling software
Advanced surface modeling and complex blending skills.
