Job Description:
The ideal candidate possesses a life science background and experience with financial modeling, as well as passion to follow the stock market. He or she will work alongside the Senior Analyst and Associates in all aspects of the research process, from idea generation to modeling, including but not limited to the following:
Write industry and company reports and company launch initiations
Develop doctor/patient surveys and conduct doctor interviews to understand market dynamics, demand and future projection
Build financial models to quantitatively analyze company valuations
Demonstrate industry knowledge (such as regulatory, pricing) from early stage study to market approval
Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies
Seek out new, value-added and/or unusual sources of information
Have ability to monitor news flow and highlight stock-impacting updates when the Senior Analyst is traveling
Interact regularly with sales, trading and external clients and if performance on team is strong enough, take on coverage of individual names over time
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree. (Advanced degree in life science discipline is a plus but not required)
Ideal candidate would have 1-4 years of experience in biotech in equity research, buy side experience or investment banking experience

Trade Control Analyst – Central Funding Desk – USA
Job Description:
Associate to have working knowledge of TRACE activities including Submission, Governance and control process. TRACE related activities would include the below
• Exception identification and liaising with particular LOB associate to understand the root cause.
• Review of pre-submission and post-submission control queues (Rejections and Unmatched) to ensure accuracy.
• Monitoring of all exception queues including follow-up of all issues in Unmatched TRACE Queue.
• Documentation of all issues including timeliness with root cause analysis in appropriate platform to be identified.
• Review of pre-submission and post-submission control queues (Rejections and Unmatched)
• Understand various idiosyncrasies and conventions of Structured Notes/Linear Rates products, Treasuries, FX and commodities and their related hedges in order to provide SME(Subject-Matter Expert)-level support.
Qualification:
•Solid understanding of basic financial concepts such as time value of money, interest rate, mark-to-market, and time series modeling.
•Excellent Excel reporting-related skills
•Detail-oriented to operation trade flow, data entry, and data reconciliation
•Ability to liaise across multiple functional teams to resolve issues
•Ability to operate autonomously without direct supervision

Quantitative Finance Analyst -Financial Crimes Data Analyst
Job Description:
The Role will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders including Financial Crimes Investigations, business risk managers, model developers, model risk management, model implementation, and technology teams.
Identifying and applying statistical techniques to support innovative, enhanced granularity of risk management capabilities
Developing quantitative methods to support granular detection capabilities that meet risk management, line of business, and regulatory requirements
Performing in-depth analysis on the Bank’s AML model suite and clearly articulating a holistic picture of model performance
Communicating model performance to model stakeholders, including risk management, model development, model risk, and senior management with clear conclusions regarding accuracy and remediation areas as required
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate to senior stakeholders quantitative solutions that are designed to drive the business forward by addressing critical business problems”
Qualification:
Graduate degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Physics)
2+ years of experience in model development, statistical work, data analytics or quantitative research or PhD
Strong Programming skills e.g. R, Python, SAS, SQL or other languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
