Loan Servicing Analyst – USA

Job Description:

As a Barclays Loans Analyst, you will be managing a portfolio of syndicated lending transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to be able to account for performing all the servicing activities required, creating MIS and reconcilements reports, attesting to account balances and reviewing Credit Agreements, Credit Sanctions, and other client documents as required.

Job Requirement: 

• Executing requests from clients with respect to terms of agreed facilities, including draw downs, repayments, rollovers, wire transfers, treasury fundings, deposits, and investigations
• Being responsible for ensuring that fees, interest, and principal amortization are billed and collected and forwarded to participant/syndicate members as appropriate
• Reviewing daily action of control and exception reports and ensuring breaks are researched and resolved per agreed department standard
• Communicating with stakeholders inside and outside of the Loans group to resolve “Breaks” and discrepancies highlighted in various reports published daily/weekly/etc
• Providing cross training to colleagues on function and systems
• Participating in system testing which may fall outside of business hours
• Backing up co-workers and assisting with adhoc projects and assignments

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any area
• One plus year experience in banking or financial services firm
• Excellent customer service skills
• An independent individual who is self-motivating and needs little supervision daily

• Knowledge and experience working on a syndicated loan operations team
• Working knowledge of lending systems (ACBS, ClearPar, IHS Markit Applications, Loan IQ, payments systems)
• Exceptional Microsoft Office suite and software, in particular MS Excel
• Ability to prioritize and perform in fast paced, changing environment

Research Analyst Product Management – England

Job Description: 

• Supporting with the development of European FICC Research pipeline, across Credit and Macro (both developed and emerging markets, across economics, FX, and rates)
• Improving the quality of research content and identifying and executing new research content opportunities
• Identifying opportunities and executing on collaborative content with global FICC and equity research
• Driving the origination of topical, market-relevant content-led global analyst roadshows, Premier Events, conferences, and client engagement opportunities
• Exploring, evaluating, and executing new formats for delivering research with an eye on commerciality
• Being responsible for proactive marketing of Global FICC Research content via publications, content management on Barclays Live and
• Directing marketing of Research Content with Markets Distribution, Trading and more widely across the Bank
• Strengthening internal collaboration across Research, PMG, Distribution and Trading to deliver high impact content and expand the quality of the Barclays Research franchise

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance /accounting /economics, or practical experience to the equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency and familiarity in FX and rates markets and investments, with a particular focus on US and LatAm markets
• Ability to look for links between top-down macro/market topics and sector/company-specific insights and passionate about following markets:

Development of reports using Data warehouse and database technologies along with proven track record of ETL.

Job Description:

• Work directly with Product Managers and business users on financial models, calculations and reports.
• Accountable for specific project deliverables.
• Accountable for front2back development across Business/ Regulatory/ Control demands including DevOps, Barclays SDLC, Security, Stability, Capacity, Resiliency, and Maintainability.
• Ownership and/or influence of change, project timelines, and architecture.
• Design, build, test, and deploy DWH application components.

Qualification:

• A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
• Extensive hands-on experience on experience in software development using Data ware house.
• Proven track of working in database technologies, SQL.
• Strong Unix, Shell Scripting, Autosys skills.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
• Desirable to have experience of agile delivery in a data centric, regulatory environment
• Good understanding of Data Mart concepts with proven experience.
