Graduate – Sales Application Engineer – UK
Job Description:
This dual customer/product focused position serves as the technical liaison between OEMs and represents our customers during new product development program.
Applying Cummins’ products to the development of technical specifications, implementing new design configurations, and delivering high performance, low-cost equipment and system solutions integrated with customers’ products in a variety of applications.
Investigates integration and installation problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.
Develops strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to serve as their primary liaison to deliver product technical information, manage product specifications, communicate product change information, conduct installation issue resolutions, and facilitate customer requests.
Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.
Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
Qualification:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Software knowledge including MS Office, MATLAB & CAD software (eg. AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, etc.…) is a plus.

Data Engineer – India
Job Description:
Supports, develops and maintains a data and analytics platform. Effectively and efficiently process, store and make data available to analysts and other consumers. Works with the Business and IT teams to understand the requirements to best leverage the technologies to enable agile data delivery at scale.
Implements and automates deployment of our distributed system for ingesting and transforming data from various types of sources (relational, event-based, unstructured).
Implements methods to continuously monitor and troubleshoot data quality and data integrity issues.
Implements data governance processes and methods for managing metadata, access, retention to data for internal and external users.
Develops reliable, efficient, scalable and quality data pipelines with monitoring and alert mechanisms that combine a variety of sources using ETL/ELT tools or scripting languages.
Develops physical data models and implements data storage architectures as per design guidelines.
Qualification:
College, university or equivalent degree preferred or equivalent work experience in relevant technical discipline.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Relevant experience preferred such as working in a temporary student employment, intern, co-op, or other extracurricular team activities.
Knowledge of the latest technologies in data engineering is highly preferred and includes:
Exposure to Big Data open source
SPARK, Scala/Java, Map-Reduce, Hive, Hbase, and Kafka or equivalent college coursework

Customer Service Representative – Europe
Job Description:
You are responsible for assigned customer accounts for the entire order life cycle to ensure orders are shipped to agreed deadline.
You will act as the single-point-of-contact to Cummins’ customers to process and fulfil customer orders, providing accurate documentation and continual communication to customer throughout the process.
You can take ownership of and resolve complex customer inquiries through extensive research, a detailed understanding of Cummins processes, systems, and practices; provide timely and informative responses as per the Service Level Agreement.
You maintain accurate records of all internal and external interactions in the appropriate database/system.
You ensure customers comply with export polices and ensure required export/shipping documentation is compiled to the relevant legislation.
You act as liaison between the customer and aftermarket and/or manufacturing location for quality issues.
You prepare and distribute standard and customized internal and customer reports.
You have knowledge of Quality Management Systems and an understanding of Customer Order Management policies, procedures, and metrics.
You are strong in effective communication and can express yourself fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
You have a sense of customer focus and stakeholder management.
Managing complex and large amounts of information is one of your strengths.
