Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrument)
Job Role Responsibilities
Primarily responsible to deliver successful project management in development and execution phase, in compliance with company system
Responsible for forming and training the project team, safely executing the project in line with the project objectives and strategy and project plans, meeting defined requirements and standards, and delivering compliance with budget and schedule.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring financial and technical feasibility
Develop detailed project plan, cost estimation and schedule
Identify project opportunities and risks and develop / communicate execution mitigation plans to stakeholders during project development and at management reviews
Manage project design engineering work to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil guideline
Managing overall project construction work and coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure flawless execution
Oversight construction work and maintain field presence to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil Safety Security Health and Environmental requirement, and regulatory requirement
Conduct timely project stewardship, to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Develops QA/QC Plan and assures compliance throughout construction phase
Lead and coordinate with relevant parties for conducting Pre Start-Up Safety Review, to ensure safe commissioning
Ensure that all project change properly manage via Management of Change system
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering from well-recognized institutions/universities (with strong education background)
Master Degree in Engineering, and MBA are preferred
Experiences in Oil & Gas, energy industries 1-2 years after graduation are plus+
Interested in computerized control system, instrument and IT are plus+
Fluent in English: TOEIC 800+, or equivalent. (Able to communicate with foreigner)
Have Engineer licenses (if eligible with discipline)
Strong computer skills, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Interest for project management work that involve handling with other engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Civil, Process, etc.
Experience with MS project, SAP, AutoCAD are plus+
Familiar with Terminal facilities and equipment such as Pump, Piping, Tank, Meter, Batch controlling system, etc. are plus+
Able to relocation once assigned, e.g. Sriracha, Lumlukka, Lampang, and (optional) aboard
