Job Description:

Data Engineer – Physical Infrastructure – India
The Data Engineer will work in teams addressing statistical, machine learning and data understanding problems in a commercial technology and consultancy development environment. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of modern machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods for finding structure in large data sets.
Qualification:

Customer Project Engineer – United States
The Project Engineer (PE) will oversee the Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) and ensure the effective creation of assigned products.
Responsibilities include coordinating team activities and collaborating closely with various departments such as Electrical and Electromagnetic Design, Mechanical Design/Drafting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Marketing.
The PE will lead the engineering projects for the sensor products team, focusing on New Product Development (NPD).
This role entails leading initiatives for temperature sensors, temperature probes, and other advanced sensors that are not temperature-based.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering (or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of Project Engineering experience)
This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Engineer – NDT Ultrasonic Inspection Development
This role supports the Ultrasonic, Infrared, and Eddy Current Inspection Team, which is part of the GE Aerospace Inspection Solutions (AIS) organization, located in Springdale, OH.
This team is responsible for designing, developing, validating, and deploying ultrasonic, infrared, and eddy current NDT inspection techniques for metal and composite aircraft engine components.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in engineering/technology)
Desired:
Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering: Electrical, Materials, Biomedical, Mechanical, Systems, or similar

FEM Stress Analyst – Europe
Support design of engine components by finite element analysis, tools, and other analytical methods to meet internal and external customer requirements:
Finite element models preparation (Mesh, Boundary Conditions and Loads application) of engine metal components – Ansys, HyperMesh or equivalent
Perform structural FE analysis aimed to meet strength and life requirements – Ansys
Results postprocessing and interpretation
Document technical reports and data archivization
Participate and lead Technical Reviews with Senior Engineers and Program Leaders
Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure product performance and safety
Analyze and document certification test results to substantiate requirements from aviation regulatory agencies
Develop and execute new ideas for engineering processes improvements and simplification
Analytical support and substantiation of manufacturing non conformances
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering: Mechanical, Aviation, Physics or related
Fundamental technical knowledge of aviation engine components, fatigue, mechanics and finite element methodology
Experience in structural finite element model analysis (Ansys, HyperWorks – HyperMesh, HyperView or equivalent)
Practical use of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes and material application in aviation industry
