Job Description:
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is what you get when you treat operations as if it’s a software problem. Our mission is to progress, protect, and provide for the software and systems behind all of Google’s public services – Search, Ads, Gmail, Android, YouTube, and AppEngine, to name just a few – with an ever-watchful eye on their availability, latency, performance, and capacity.
Job Responsibilities
Execute on projects that will improve the reliability of our Fibit Products.
Reduce the operational work significantly for our footprint on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Leverage Google Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) strategies to span GCP and the Google stack.
Optimize existing systems, build infrastructure and eliminate work through automation.
Design and execute projects to improve the reliability of the Fitbit footprint.
Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
Experience with algorithms and data structures or Unix/Linux systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Experience architecting, developing, and troubleshooting systems.

Test Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud Hosted
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with Developers, Technical Program Managers, and Technical Leads to curate test plans and automated test scenarios, and enable our platform’s end to end testing effort.
Develop frameworks and automation for running tests, collecting results, and triaging issues on the Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH) platform.
Work with partner teams to evaluate testing requirements, come up with test plans, and implement test cases using Google frameworks to accelerate end to end testing of the platform.
Collaborate with other Engineers to deliver a high quality system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience as a developer, SDET, or automation engineer.
Preferred:
Experience working with Kubernetes or other Google Cloud technologies.
Experience with testing large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with object oriented programming (e.g. Python or Go).

Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

Product Solutions Engineer – Hyderabad
Job Responsibilities:
Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service, advanced troubleshooting, and resolve bugs from internal sales teams and Google’s advertisers.
Engage with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Engineering and Product teams, to build automation frameworks to detect and prevent product bugs/issues.
Prototype and develop tools to enable the troubleshooting of customer issues and queries to facilitate troubleshooting of standard use cases.
Collaborate with Engineering teams on Infrastructure launches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in coding with a general purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python), working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, Networks) or performing data analysis and visualization using SQL (e.g., query languages).
Preferred:
Experience in system design/API, programming language including data structures and algorithms, machine learning basics.
Experience working with the Google ads network and e-commerce products.
Understanding of back-end infrastructure concepts (e.g., cache, memory management), mobile app operating system, mobile app data analytics product.
Ability to interpret data to influence across cross-functional stakeholders in gTech and Engineering organizations and communicate technical problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
