Product Engineer (Entry Level) – USA

Job Description:

This position is reponsible for the execution of administrative, engineering/technical, and sales functions in support of the goals established for the Power Center’s manufacture of high-quality products including Power Distribution, Control Equipment and Aftermarket Products.

Support a single product line which could include either Low Voltage Assemblies, Low Voltage Controls, Medium Voltage Assemblies or Medium Voltage Switchgear
Prepare Bills of Material and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams, which shop personnel follow to build into a completed product meeting the customer requirement.
Maintain engineering schedule to ensure drawings are released and parts are ordered in time to support the Production build schedule.
Maintain good working relationships with Power Center Production team, Product Applications Engineers, Supply Chain, customers, distributors and Eaton Sales personnel in support of a quality customer service effort.
Stay abreast of Eaton technical product developments through training or other means.
Provide technical support for customers and plant personnel.
Support Warranty Technician and investigate warranty requests to determine root cause and solution to help customer.
Actively drive and participate in a culture of “Safety First”.
Support product line quality, using and modifying quality check sheet and peer review processes.
Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution to be completed by 12/31/2023.
Relocation assistance will be offered for candidates reside outside a 50-mile radius of location listed in job description.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred:

Familiarity with control schematics and/or PLC concepts.
Experience designing and applying power distribution and/or motor control equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Prior engineering experience through internships or assignments in a manufacturing setting.
1-2 years of prior professional experience in support of manufacturing through assignments in sales, inventory control, clerical, or production.
Experience with power distribution and familiarity with control schematics.

Project Engineer – USA

Job Description:

As a Project Engineer, you will provide design engineering services instrumental to the completion of major projects. You will provide engineering support to teams of designers/discipline specific engineers, construction managers and project managers for the development and execution of detailed engineering packages. You will be responsible for supporting a Senior Engineer in the development

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (with an expected graduation date no later than December 2023) from an accredited institution.
