Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to join Honeywell as a Graduate Engineer working within our Building Solutions division

You will work with critical building management systems, HVAC systems, networking, and security systems often on site, learning to make decisions and run customer sites with less hands-on guidance.

This may include installing and maintaining building automation, security, life safety and energy management systems.

You will become a trusted service advisor to our variety of customers. You’ll enjoy a wide range of experiences across commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities.

Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Qualification: 

Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Automation, Instrument & Control, Oil & Gas/Petroleum/ Mining, Computer Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Data Sciences) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, March 2025.

Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

Project Engineer I – UAE Nationals Only

Reporting directly to the project leader for the project on which they are working, the Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to test and commission all items of Honeywell installed or provided equipment to the satisfaction of the customer and/or contractual requirements.

The Project Engineer must ensure that all Engineering, testing and verification documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manor so that all items that are reported to have been tested will be correct when assessed by an independent person such as a consultant.

The Project Engineer must understand the desired outcome of the project as well as the workings of the Honeywell installed product that they are working with.

Qualification:

Minimum requirements include an industry recognized electrical / electronic technical certificate.

The locally required HS&E permits and training

Knowledge and/or priori experience in ELV, Security, Building management, Life Safety system

Job Responsibilities

· Sales Support: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies for BMS products and solutions, working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.

· Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise and support to clients during the sales process, ensuring appropriate application of BMS products to meet customer requirements

· Design Solutions: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design customized BMS solutions, preparing proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation.

· Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and workshops, effectively communicating the benefits and features of building management systems to prospective clients.

Qualifications

· Experience: Experience through internship, in sales engineering, technical support, or a related field, preferably working with Fire systems or similar technologies would be an added advantage.

· Technical Skills: Familiarity with BMS technologies, including HVAC, lighting control, and security systems is preferred.

· Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
